im a high school student. im a junior and ill be graduating next year, as a junior what can i do to start college hours and be finishing my high school year at the same time?
You probably would want to consider getting into AP (advanced placement) classes at your high school, but first you need to find out if the college or university will accept AP credit.
Second, consider that while you’re in college you can take the CLEP (Google: “CLEP” for more info). I’ve taken a couple CLEP examinations that helped me obtain college credit/or pass grade for certain elective courses that I felt strong in. This test saves you time and money in the end.
Also, while in college, you might be able to participate in “Test Out” examinations, which allow you to obtain a passing grade / credit for the courses you may feel you’re strong in. It’s something like the CLEP, but done at the college or university.
