    Good afternoon,

Hello my name is Justin Fanjoy. I have an associates degree from NHTI in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Plymouth State University. In 2010 I graduated from the University of New Haven with a 3.72 GPA. I obtained a Masters of Science in National Security and Public Safety. I am interested in attending Rutgers University and am wondering if Rutgers offers a doctorate that is related to the Masters that I have already obtained. I would also greatly appreciate it if you could supply me with more information on the Transnational Crime and Homeland Security programs that are offered and whether they can be offered at a doctoral level.
Thank you and have a good day

Justin, please contact Rutgers through their website or via telephone. As you know, Rutgers University is a stellar academic institution and it has plethora of programs. I’m not sure if they have anything on Transnational Crime and/or Homeland Security. Also, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is also worth checking out. From what I remember, they have a program – I think in their Government academic dept. – that you can tailor to focus on those issues. Good luck!

I graduated, Bachelors of Art, at Rutgers with a 3.6 GPA in Criminal Justice and Sociology (Double Major). I have an associate degree in criminal justice as well. Do you think graduating from Rutgers undergrad would help me a lot when trying to get into the graduate/masters program of criminal justice at Rutgers Newark? I have already applied and I am waiting to see if I get in. I will find out in the next several months. I am just eager to see what other think.

You should be considered. That’s for sure. Why don’t you speak with your past professors, perhaps they can guide you in the right direction; put in the good word.
