About the Author

My name is Radek Gadek and I am a graduate of the renowned Masters in Criminal Justice program at Boston University.

As you continue on your quest in finding the right criminal justice program, I hope that Criminal Justice Degree, College, and Career Blog will be your guide.

I started this blog in 2008 because there is virtually no constructive information on criminal justice education and careers. I know that there is great information out there, but it is mostly hidden behind “cookie cutter” sites that maybe provide general information on CJ education and careers.

Free Resources

find information about all things criminal justice on this website:

  • How to look for the best criminal justice program for you
  • Find out what courses you might be taking and how they can shape your educational experience
  • How to spot hidden dangers related to accreditation and program requirements
  • How to improve your chances of being accepted into even the best of the best in CJ education
  • How to write your papers, take quizzes, and participate in discussions
  • Learn to properly utilize citation, especially the American Psychological Association (APA) format
  • Generate topic ideas for your own essays (don’t just copy the ones on my site – have you heard of plagiarism?)
  • Learn about career options you have by completing your degree, courses, and certificate programs in criminal justice or related program
  • Oh! Yes, plenty of career resources, too (how could I forget)
  • And much, much more.

All the best on your road to success.

Hi I just found your blog and I love it so far! I’m a student in the Criminology Law and Society Master’s program at UC Irvine you recently featured…and our program assistant director wanted to share with us all so she sent an email blast about your blog! Ironically BU was the other program I was considering… :)

      Thanks JTM

I just wanted to say thank you so much for creating this blog! You are saving my life right now (as well as my sanity). You have completely convinced me to ditch my pre-conceived notions in regards to online classes through an accredited university. I’ll be attending Washington State University Online :) Now I can’t wait to get started on my major in Criminal Justice and begin my career in law enforcement and eventually the FBI or DEA. You’ve created a monster in me, I can’t stop clicking through the archive!
