Is Argosy University in Schaumburg IL a good school for criminal justice? Is there a better school in that area that would be recognized by employers?

    • Radek M. Gadek

Argosy University, in general, is a school I would put on a back burner, but from the standpoint of it being recognized by employers, it will be. It is regionally accredited which is a huge start, but it’s not a well respected university and some may say it might not be up to par to the University of Illinois System of schools; which I would have to agree with. I am not too familiar with schools near Shaumburg, IL but I do know UIC is considered one of the best in the country for criminal justice. It’s near, but I don’t know if it’s that near to you.

Do you think University of Illinois Springfield would be a good school to come from if you want to go into the FBI?

  • Marge

Where would you rank Western Illinois University on the choices in Illinois? I like that UIC is a top choice but what about the other state universities in Illinois?

    • Radek M. Gadek

I have heard from numerous people to place this school in my upcoming Best Criminal Justice Schools in Illinois article. I’m still doing the research on which schools to include, and this school will more than likely make the list.

Thank you. Have you received any feedback on where Illinois State University would rank? Will you be posting the article you mentioned or can you tell me where to see this once you have it compiled? My daughter will be going into her Sophomore year in HS in the fall and her dream is to go into Criminal Justice and ultimately work for the FBI.
